I found an interesting recipe for salmon burger, so I decided to try it out.
Ingredients:
1 fillet salmon
1/4 pound ground pork
1 small onion
1 egg
1 small potato
The ingredients combined:
Formed into patties:
My burger actually tasted a lot better than it looks here. I made wasabi mayo and added the usual fixings.
Even J enjoyed the salmon burger and he doesn't like fish. I think the combination of the pork and salmon made it really tasty.

Valentine's Day Creme Brulee
J spent the day at the track, so we decided to celebrate Lover's Day the following week, but I decided to make creme brulee for dessert. Just so we had a little somethin' somethin'. I thought it turned out too sweet, but J liked it. Notice how I made an attempt to form heart shapes with the caramelized sugar.

Giant Prawns Steamed in Sake
My aunt gave me 10 giant prawns. They were huge (the size of my palm). I decided to bust out my steamer and steam the prawns along with some gai lan (Chinese broccoli).
I steamed the prawns in some wine sake, along with ginger, oyster sauce, salt and pepper. I topped it off with an egg and green onions.
Five prawns were enough to fill me up.
