Avocado on the Half Shell
This is a great healthy summertime snack. The avocado was served chilled.
Avocado
Tomato (preferably grape tomatoes or any small variety)
Lemon Juice
Sea Salt
Basil
Mint
Olive Oil
Almonds
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped basil and chopped mint. Add lemon juice and sea salt to desired taste. Cut chilled avocado in half, squeeze a little lemon juice, fill the herb seasoning in the pit, add the chopped almonds and tomato, and more sea salt if you're like me and love salt. I didn't have any grape tomatoes on hand today, so I just used my regular sized tomatoes and diced them. Still tasted good...
Enjoy!

Avocado Shake
Avocado shakes are a childhood favorite of mine. I've been making these since I was a kid, so I don't measure this recipe. Just don't put too much condensed milk or sugar. You can always add them in later if it's not sweet enough.
Ingredients:
Avocado (1 avocado = 1 glass)
Condensed Milk (I use the Longevity Brand)
Ice
Water
Sugar (depending on how sweet you want it - I don't use much)

Blend it up

Taste to make sure it's to your liking. You can add more sugar to make it sweeter if you like.

Enjoy!
